In particular, it provides insight into how Māori experience three aspects of wellbeing considered important in reducing the impact of depression and/or anxiety on them, improving their social inclusion, and addressing mental health inequalities:
- Whanaungatanga and belonging
- Cultural connectedness and reconnection
- Strength of cultural identity.
